We are supported by a committed Local Governing Board in order to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible education at Manor Hill.
Governors are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards, as such the role of the governing board is absolutely key to the effectiveness of a school.
Whilst the headteacher is responsible for the internal organisation, management and control of the school, the governors provide strategic leadership and accountability in schools; taking a large responsibility for finance and working with the headteacher to make the tough decisions to balance the resources available.
