Physical Education
At Manor Hill First School, our Physical Education (PE) curriculum is designed to inspire all children to enjoy, succeed, and excel in physical activities. Delivered by expert sports coaches from Time4Sport (T4S), PE lessons are scheduled twice weekly, with each session lasting one hour. These high-quality sessions focus on developing a wide range of physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while promoting physical fitness and well-being through a progressive and cohesive programme of study.
We actively participate in the School Sports Partnership, which provides opportunities for children to engage in both inclusive and competitive fixtures against other schools, including those within our Trust. These events foster a sense of community, encourage resilience, and celebrate achievement, catering to children of all abilities and interests.
Our PE curriculum ensures that every child develops their skills progressively, builds confidence, and experiences the joy of physical activity in a supportive and dynamic environment. Through structured lessons and external competitions, we aim to instill a lifelong enthusiasm for sport and physical health.
